Reporting a tuning that reads wrong

This is the report we most want. A tuner that names the wrong note is the worst bug this site can have, so it goes to the front of the queue. Please include which tuning you had selected, which string you were playing, what TUNEZOID said, and what you believe the note actually is. If you have a second tuner to compare against, saying so helps.

Reporting a detection problem

If the needle jumps around, refuses to settle, or picks up a note you are not playing, the cause is usually the room or the microphone rather than the maths, but we would still like to know. Tell us your browser and version, your device, whether you are using a built in microphone or an interface, and roughly how noisy the room is.

Anything else

Requests for a tuning we do not carry, notes on the wording, accessibility problems, and questions about privacy or these policies all go to the same address. Advertising and partnership enquiries do too.

This is a small independent project, not a company with a support desk. Most messages get a reply within a few days. Some do not get one at all, which is not rudeness so much as arithmetic, but every report of a wrong note is read.
