TUNEZOID

Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Using TUNEZOID means accepting these terms. They are short, because the site is a tuner and not a service you have an account with.

What you are being given

Permission to use TUNEZOID for your own purposes, personal or professional, free of charge. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. We may change how the tuner works, add or remove tunings, or take the site down entirely, without notice.

Provided as is

TUNEZOID is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or availability. Pitch detection depends on your microphone, your device, your browser and the room you are in, none of which we control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. That includes a performance played out of tune, a recording that has to be redone, and any consequence of the tuner being unavailable when you wanted it. If some liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it, do not use automated tools to hammer it, and do not present TUNEZOID as your own product. You may link to it freely.

Intellectual property

The name TUNEZOID, the design, the text and the code are ours. Musical facts are not: nobody owns the fact that the low string of a guitar in standard tuning is an E, and you are free to use anything you learn here.

Advertising

The site carries, or may carry, advertising served by third parties. We do not choose individual advertisements and an ad appearing here is not an endorsement.

Governing terms

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions go to [email protected].
